Subject: RE: "FORWARD AS ONE" The New Cadpad CD
From: "'Michele M. Fisher'"
Just wanted to let you know that the CDs came yesterday. We
listened to it this morning and really enjoyed it!! It took
us back to our vacation in the UK last summer. I am so glad
that you made a CD - we loved your music last summer and are happy
to have a more lasting way to hear you play. I gave the second
CD to my father who is also a big fan of bagpipe music.
Thanks again for sending it over seas. We will be on the
look out for your next CD once it is produced.
Best regards,
Michele

to
Cadpad On
behalf of The Rotary Club of Harwich and Dovercourt I would like
to extend our thanks to you and the Band on their excellent
performance last Sunday at the Harwich Sea Festival.
The
crowd thoroughly enjoyed the display as did we all and I sincerely
hope you will be able to join us again next year when we hope to
put the Sea Festival event on again on July 22nd 2012.

Dear Secretary,
I write to say
what a stunning performance was given by your pipe and drum band
on Sunday. The setting was marvellous and the sun shone.
Having heard the band previously, I had thought that it would all
go well but did not anticipate just how well. In short, we
would very much like to go into your diary as an annual event.
Next year, it will be on Sunday 27th May 2012. (Tendring
Hall has been opening its gardens on this Sunday of the May Bank
Holiday for over 27 years now, in aid of SSAFA Forces Help)
On a different
tack, we would very much wish to make a donation to the band fund.
I had originally thought of £100 but, perhaps, £200 would be
more appropriate. We are, inevitably, very weather
dependent. On the other hand, the band itself must boost
future attendances. If you could phone me ), I should be very
grateful for your advice - and an address for the cheque.
I am
copying this note to Paul, as Pipe Major. I didn't really
get enough time to chat with him as to our arrangements for the
band. If there is anything else which we could have done,
please let me know, Paul. We will certainly display the
band's CD at the entrance in future, now that we know.
Yours aye
Alistair
